• Brian Conti, 21, of 775 Donna Drive, Hermitage, was charged with theft for taking a man’s wallet containing $350 while the victim was conducting a transaction at a business at 4:31 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of East State Street, police said.

• Brian Conti, 21, of 775 Donna Drive, Hermitage, was charged with theft for taking a man’s wallet containing $350 while the victim was conducting a transaction at a business at 4:31 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of East State Street, police said.

• Firefighters put out a fire in a van about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Wengler Avenue, firefighters said. The cause of the fire is undetermined, firefighters said, but the van was unlocked and parked in the street and the interior was burned.

State police

• Mary L. Frye, 59, Emlenton, Pa., drove off the right side of Barkeyville Road at 8:30 a.m. Friday in Pine Township, hitting a guard rail and tree, police said.

Ms. Frye was treated and released at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, said a hospital spokeswoman. Police said she is cited with a lane violation.

• Someone cut the catalytic converter off a vehicle between April 1 and Saturday along Airport Road in Coolspring Township, police said.

• Someone stole an old forage harvester worth about $300 in scrap from the 1500 block of Airport Road in Fairview Township, police said.

• Dennis James Anderson, 52, of Jefferson Township, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the lobby of the state police barracks, police said.

Anderson, after being cited for a different incident and released, refused to leave after being told to several times, got argumentative, and struck the glass separating the lobby and communications desk, police said.
