• A 17-year-old boy was charged with harassment for hitting a fellow student at about 12:40 p.m. Thursday in Grove City High School, police said.

• A 17-year-old boy was charged with harassment for hitting a fellow student at about 12:40 p.m. Thursday in Grove City High School, police said. Also, two boys were cited for harassment at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday in the high school for hitting each other on a school bus headed to the high school.

On Wednesday, a 12-year-old was found with a knife at 11:30 a.m. in Grove City Middle School and charged with possession of weapons. A 14-year-old boy was charged with harassment the same day for starting a fight at 9 a.m. in the middle school, police said.

Police did not say if the four incidents were related.

• Someone stole a $150 iPod from a 10-year-old student between 10 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. Wednesday in a fifth-grade classroom at Hillview Elementary School, police said.

• Between 2:15 and 3 p.m. Thursday someone went through a window of a home in the 400 block of McClure Avenue and stole a Wii videogame system valued at $350, police said

State police

• John Raymond Grossman, 54, Slippery Rock, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and driving during suspension after being caught cutting telephone wire from a pole at about 1:20 a.m. Friday on Centertown Road, Wolf Creek Township, police said.

• Between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. Sept. 25 someone stole a chainsaw and weed trimmer from a vehicle in the parking lot of Prime Outlets at Grove City in Springfield Township, police said.
