• Mandy D. Marez, 26, of 135 Harvard St., was charged with harassment for hitting a man with a garbage can at 9:19 p.m. Oct. 13 at her home, police said.
Hermitage
• John R. Hogue, 19, of 1425 Bolde Drive, Hermitage, was charged with simple assault and harassment after he punched a man in the head and face several times at 4:47 p.m. Oct. 25 in the 1400 block of Bolde, police said. The victim confronted Hogue after he saw Hogue kicking the victim’s wife’s car, police said.
• Amanda M. Gassner, 18, of 6814 Frogtown Road, Hermitage, has been charged with theft for stealing $99 from her cash register at 2 p.m. Oct. 10 at McDonald’s, 2066 E. State St., where she worked, police said.
• Alysia A. Klein, 19, and Andrew W. Kiester, 21, both of Harrisville, face theft-related charges for returning items to Walmart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, that they had stolen, police said.
Ms. Klein was charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft and retail theft, and Kiester has been charged with theft, retail theft and conspiracy to commit theft and retail theft.
Kiester stole an adult T-shirt and an infant jersey Oct. 3, and Klein returned the items later for $27, police said.
He also stole an adult jersey Oct. 4, which Ms. Klein returned for $25, police said.
• Kyle D. Kimmel, 23, of 809 N. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, has been charged with possession of six pills of Alprazolam, marijuana and drug paraphernalia for having the items on him and in his car when he was stopped for speeding at 3:16 a.m. Oct. 25 at home, police said. Alprazolam is the generic form of Xanax, an anti-anxiety medication.
• Lloyd W. Welsh, 52, of New Castle, has been charged with theft for accepting $1,560 Aug. 18 to install two garage doors at Meiss Auto Repair, 2050 Shenango Valley Freeway, and then never doing the work, police said.
• Jeromy L. Medovich, 28, of Niles, Ohio, has been charged with theft for stealing a relative’s laptop computer Oct. 15 from 1126 S. Hermitage Road, police said.
• Garrick L. Cottle, 20, of 684 Prindle St., Sharon, has been charged with theft for accepting the $500 a cashier mistakenly gave him when he cashed a payroll check for $67 Oct. 23 at Walmart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, police said.

• Timothy D. Minor, 26, of 353 Liberty St., was charged with simple assault and making terroristic threats Thursday at home, police said.
