Sharon

• Daniel R. Law, 55, of 401 Mesabi St., Sharon, was charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct at 12:15 p.m. Monday at home after police said he refused to open the door to police who tried to get him to corral his aggressive and loose Rottweiler.

• Patrick Signer, 41, of Pulaski, was charged with simple assault under the domestic violence act at 12:26 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of North Water Avenue, police said.

• Someone stole two jars of coins worth about $300 between 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Monday from a home in the 500 block of North Water Avenue, police said. The home was also ransacked, police said.

State police

• Five construction tools worth $1,600 were stolen between 8 p.m. Monday and 6:45 a.m. Tuesday from the bed of a pickup parked in the 100 block of Garrett Drive, Springfield Township, police said. At about the same time and at the same location, $900 worth of power tools were stolen from another vehicle.

• Someone used a Jamestown man’s identity to finance an $11,000 vehicle purchase at about 1 p.m. Oct. 28 in California, police said.
