Herald staff

Brookfield

• Medicine, jewelry and a locked box, valued together at about $2,000, were stolen between noon and 3 p.m. Monday from a home in the 1100 block of Thomas Road, police said.

Grove City

• Police cited two juveniles after a fight at 1:25 p.m. Nov. 6 in the gym of Grove City High School, police said.

• Someone stole a laptop computer Tuesday from the Hall of Arts & Letters building AT Grove City College, police said.

Hempfield Township

• Edith Gill, 87, Kennard-Osgood Road, Sugar Grove Township, suffered unknown injuries after she lost control of her car at 8:51 a.m. Sunday on Kennard Road in Sugar Grove Township and hit several trees, police said.

She was taken to UPMC Horizon, Greenville, police said. A nursing supervisor said Thursday Ms. Gill wasn’t listed as a patient.

• A Hadley Road business owner reported Tuesday afternoon that someone broke a gate on the property and stole a snowmobile and trailer of undetermined value, police said.

Hermitage

• Shane R. Husband, 22, of 88 Mitchell Road, Shenango Township, has been charged with theft, receiving stolen property, attempted theft and conspiracy to commit theft for working with Jerry J. Bartlett, 31, of 1013 N. Perry Highway, Coolspring Township, to steal a dump truck in March from the 5500 block of Lamor Road, and attempting to steal a pickup that day from the 5900 block of Lamor, police said. Bartlett was previously arrested on theft and conspiracy charges.

Husband was picked up at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday by Grove City police at a West Main Street business in that borough.

Mercer County Drug Task Force

• Matthew W. Gondek, 25, of Phoenix has been charged with delivery and possession of Methodose, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal use of a telephone for selling 5 pills for $170 Dec. 3 to an informant at his former home on Robertson Road in Hermitage, and taking $200 from the informant for 10 Roxycodone pills Dec. 19 in a parking lot in the 1700 block of North Hermitage Road without delivering the pills, police said.
