Herald staff

Grove City

• Two girls, ages 13 and 14, got into a fight at about 11:30 a.m. Nov. 13 in Grove City Middle School, police said. They will be cited with disorderly conduct.

Hermitage

• Francis Skladanek, 62, of 939 Division St., Sharon, who was hit by a pickup Tuesday, was in satisfactory condition Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown, officials said.

Skladanek was crossing the 1800 block of East State Street at 4:24 p.m. when he walked into the path of the westbound pickup driven by James Campbell, 65, of 1060 Bechtol Ave., Sharon, police said.

Sharon

• At least two men face charges after they were found at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday inside a Mercer County Housing Authority apartment in the 200 block of Mesabi Street they weren’t authorized to be in, police said.

Marlon Freeman, 19, of 446 Malleable St., Sharon, was charged with criminal trespassing, possession of a handgun and possession of crack cocaine, police said.

Anthony Alexander, 18, of Detroit was charged with criminal trespassing and a 16-year-old Hermitage girl and a 17-year-old Sharon boy were taken into custody, police said.

• Shelly L. Ansell, 32, of 410 McConnell St., Grove City, was charged with theft from a vehicle, receiving stolen property and public drunkenness at 9:04 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Stambaugh Avenue, police said.

• A woman reported that she was robbed of prescription drugs at gunpoint about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment in the 200 block of Mesabi Street. Police said the 33-year-old Sharon woman said two men pushed their way in the door, put a gun to the woman’s chest and took a vial of pain pills she was wearing around her neck.

State police

• Someone used a BB gun or small firearm to shoot out a window on Tuesday in the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole building on U.S. Route 62 in East Lackawannock Township, police said.

• Someone stole tires worth $1,120 from a motor home between 4 p.m. Nov. 4 and 4 p.m. Monday in a parking area along state Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township, police said.

• Police are investigating a theft from a home along Creek Road in Springfield Township that occurred between 9:30 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Police did not say what was taken.
