Police, fire from Dec. 27, 2013

- — Hermitage

• Two televisions, a silver coin and some costume jewelry were reported stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Stockton Road. Police said the burglary occurred between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 12:18 p.m. Wednesday.

State police

• Jonathan Adam Wakefield, 23, of Franklin, faces charges after an incident at about 9:40 p.m. Sunday in Liberty Township involving a Grove City area couple.

Wakefield had pulled into the driveway of 223 Black Run Road and was talking to Cortny Lucas of that address, police said. He pulled forward, then backed up and rammed a pickup owned by Samuel Gargasz, same address, police said. Wakefield’s truck struck Lucas in the hand as he sped away, police said.

Wakefield was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief, harassment, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, trespass by motor vehicle and damaging property with a motor vehicle.
