- — Hermitage

• Traphael D. Stubbs, 23, of 118 Spearman Ave., Farrell, has been charged with carrying a firearm without a license and receiving stolen property for buying a .45-caliber handgun he knew was stolen for $300 from Holly J. Lang on May 1 in the 1200 block of Hofius Lane, police said.

Lang, 30, of Hermitage, has been charged with theft.

Stubbs was arrested that day when Lang offered to buy the gun back for $20, and he returned for the sale, police said.

• Gregory A. Wilson, 51, of 254 Olson Road, Sandy Lake Township, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of crack cocaine and possession of crack and drug paraphernalia after police responded to a call of a van with two flat tires at 8:46 p.m. Saturday on Canal Street near Kennedy Street, Wheatland, police said.

• Douglas M. DiClaudio, 25, of 3292 Hubbard West Middlesex Road, Shenango Township, has been charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft for twice returning for refunds tools that were stolen May 19 by Richard Ohara from Walmart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, police said.

Ohara, 63, of 529 Sherman Ave., Sharon, was charged with summary retail theft and theft.

DiClaudio also has been charged with summary retail theft for stealing an item May 24 from Walmart, police said.

• Meranda A. Dell, 21, of 1570 Parke Drive, Hermitage, has been charged with hindering apprehension for having Davon “Goofy” Tindall in her car May 23 in the 2000 block of Mercer Avenue when she knew he was wanted by police, police said.

Police said they had gone to Dell’s apartment earlier in the day because they had gotten a tip that Tindall was there and that he had a gun.

Dell said he was not there and would not let police search her apartment to look for him, police said.

Tindall was wanted on a bench warrant for absconding probation, police said.

• A television was stolen in a burglary that occurred sometime Sunday or Monday in the 800 block of South Buhl Farm Drive, police said. There was evidence of forced entry, police said.

• George M. Clark, 27, of Mercer County Jail, has been charged with burglary for breaking into a home Sept. 16 in the 3500 block of Sharon Road, West Middlesex, and stealing $3,000, which he used to pay a car repair bill and buy heroin, police said.
