Police, Fire from Nov. 25, 2013

• Kelly J. Clipse, 41, of 301 Baker Hill Road, was charged Thursday with criminal attempt of possession of a controlled substance after she called in a prescription on Nov. 10 to the Reynolds Pharmacy, 3676 N. Hermitage Road, Transfer, police said. Clipse posed as staff from a doctor’s office and tried to pick it up the next day, police said.

State police

• Someone broke into Jacobs Gable Inn, Highway 322, Jamestown, between 6 and 6:50 a.m. Sunday and took cases of beer, bottles of liquor, food, and a gray sentry combination safe with about $3,000 in it, police said.

Video surveillance shows an identifiable light-skinned man who apparently broke the frame of a rear doorway to enter, police said.
