• A 27-year-old Cortland man was charged with domestic violence after he allegedly slapped a woman in the face in an attempt to stop her from jumping out of the car, police said.

William H. Duley picked up a 24-year-old woman at a bar along state Route 7 at 1:10 a.m. Friday and the woman told police she and Duley began to argue and she wanted to get out of the vehicle. Police said they stopped Duley in the 6100 block of Warren-Sharon Road. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license.

• Someone smashed the rear window of a parked car in an incident reported at about 4 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Market Avenue.

• LaVar Brown, 24, 813 Market Ave., Farrell; at 6:46 p.m. Saturday during a traffic stop on Hamilton Avenue on a warrant for failure to appear.

• Rachel Ann Harris, 27, of 140 Plum St., Greenville; turned over at 12:48 a.m. Sunday by Greenville police who arrested her on a Southwest warrant for drunken driving.


Greenville-West Salem Township

• Michele E. Berwick, Greenville, Sunday on South Front Street; also charged with aggravated assault on police and terroristic threats.

Grove City

• Shari Heckathorn, 46, East Market St., Mercer; at 2:20 a.m. Sunday on West Main near Breckenridge streets; also cited with driving on the wrong side of the road.


• Tammie Lynne Chisholm, 35, of 201 Union Ave., Sharpsville; at 2:32 a.m. Sunday at South Walnut Street and Ridge Avenue, police said.
