• A city man faces gun and other charges after running from an attempted traffic stop at about 7 p.m. Friday near East Budd and Mesabi streets.
Dominique Marquise Grannison, 23, of 275 Sterling Ave., was caught nearby after a short chase. Police said they found a loaded .380-caliber pistol in the car and said the vehicle owner told them Grannison had taken it without permission.
Grannison was charged with possession of a gun without a license, unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving under license suspension, damage to unattended vehicle or property and fleeing to avoid police.
• Gary Adair Lee, 35, of 374 McClure Ave., Sharon, was rolling a joint and listening to loud music in his car when a patrolman arrived at about 12:40 a.m. Saturday after a resident complained about noise, police said.
Lee was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Aaron Humphries Sr., 30, of 170 W. Budd St., Sharon; at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at 900 E. State St. on a Mercer County warrant for absconding parole.
