- — Southwest Mercer County Regional

• A Sharon man faces charges after police said they saw a handgun clip sticking out from under the driver’s seat of his car.

DeShawn Harvey Coleman, 20, of 312 Russell St., was charged at about noon Friday with carrying a gun without a license.

During a traffic stop on Sharon-New Castle Road in Farrell, police saw the clip, made Coleman get out of his vehicle and recovered a gun, they said.

• Police are investigating the theft of two handguns and some coins at 3:16 p.m. Friday from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Patt Drive, Farrell.

• Police are investigating damage to a yard and fencin on Fennell Road, Shenango Township. The damage, reported at about 9:45 a.m. Saturday, probably was caused by ATVs, police said.

• Danielle Elizabeth Liese, 29, of 122 W. Main St., Greenville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after police responded to a disturbance Sunday at a business in the 3300 block of Sharon Road, Shenango Township.

State police

• Two Youngstown women face retail theft and other charges after police say they stole merchandise valued at $3,307 Friday from stores at Grove City Premium Outlets in Springfield Township.

Shanell Ranea Pusey, 33, and Talia Darlene Jackson, 35, altered or removed inventory control tags while stealing belts, shorts, bracelets, shoes, fragrances, and shirts from five stores, police said.

Each woman was charged with retail theft, conspiracy, possession of instruments of crime and destroying inventory tags. Both were taken to Mercer County Jail after failing to post bond.



• Michlyn Wilder, 31, of 242 Third St., Sharon; at 10:44 a.m. Saturday on a failure-to-pay warrant from Southwest Mercer County Regional Police; released after paying bond.

• Curtisy Lynn Hilton, 37, of 118 Fleetwood Court, Wheatland; at 1:24 p.m. Friday on Spearman Avenue, Farrell, on a Sharon warrant for burglary.

• Derrick Anthony Odom, 44, of 911 Hamilton Ave., Farrell; at 3:35 p.m. Saturday near his home on a failure-to-appear warrant from Mercer County Courts; taken to Mercer County Jail.

• Robert Milton Spruill, 30, of 913 Spearman Ave., Farrell; at 2:34 p.m. Friday at home on a warrant for simple assault; also held on a probation detainer.


Greenville-West Salem Township

• Ryan Banick, 28, Hermitage; at 12:13 a.m. Saturday on Clarksville Street, West Salem Township.
