• An Allegheny County man faces charges after threatening to kill an estranged girlfriend, police said.

Jordan Wood, 19, of McKeesport, was arguing at about 4:40 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of North Avenue with a 21-year-old woman with whom he had a child. Neighbors intervened when he held a small .22 caliber rifle to her head and threatened to kill her, police said.

Wood ran when the first cruiser arrived and managed to hide the gun in the ceiling of a vacant house next door before he was caught after a short chase, police said.

He was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.

• A Greenville woman faces corruption charges after she was accused of molesting two young Sharon children.

Amy Tuosto, 18, of 91 Shenango St., exposed herself and touched the genitals of two girls, ages 3 and 8,  May 27, police said.

Tuosto was taken to Mercer County Jail after failing to post bond.

• Justin Odem faces charges after stealing wine in Brookfield and running through yards into Sharon, police said.

Odem, 30, of 326 Wallis Ave., Farrell, was found at about 4 a.m. Saturday hiding in weeds in the 500 block of  South Irvine Avenue. He had two bottles of wine that Brookfield police said were stolen earlier from Circle K convenience store.

Odem was charged with possession of stolen property, public drunkenness and loitering and prowling at night.

• A city man faces charges after security video helped to identify him as the customer who bought cigarettes last week with a counterfeit bank note.

Thomas Ripley Jr., 50, of 360 Baldwin Ave., used a phony $20 bill when he bought cigarettes at about 3:30 p.m. June 24 from Walgreen’s, 900 E. State St., police said.

He was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday at McDonald’s downtown, police said. Ripley was charged with forgery and theft.

• A Farrell man was taken to Mercer County Jail and faces additional charges after allegedly violating his parole in Sharon.

Probation and parole agents called police at about 12:40 p.m. June 20 after seeing Dustin Morrow drop packages of suspected drugs in the 200 block of Mesabi Street, police said. The objects Morrow dropped were three plastic bags of crack cocaine, police said.

Morrow, 26, of 904 Wallis Ave., was charged with possession and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.



• Hector Ivan Duran, 26, McCleery St., Sharon, at 11:50 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Baird Way; for violating probation and parole.

ä Ieasha Irby, 21, of 1385 Bolde Drive, Hermitage; at 11:50 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of White Avenue on a Mercer County district attorney’s bench warrant.
