- — Grove City

• About $300 was stolen from a purse between June 19 and 26 at Hillview School, police said.

Sharon

• Someone forced open a basement door and stole copper tubing in a burglary reported at 9 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Irvine Avenue.

The unoccupied house undergoing remodeling had previously been stripped of copper plumbing. About 60 feet of replacement tubing was taken in the most recent theft, police said.

Southwest Mercer County Regional

• Quinton D. Pinkins, 29, of 1218 Dakota St., Farrell, has been charged with making terroristic threats for making hand signals indicating he was shooting a police car at 10:30 a.m. June 27 in the 700 block of Idaho Street, Farrell, police said.

WARRANT ARREST

Brookfield

• John R. Park, 49, of West Monroe, La.; at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of state Route 7 south on warrants from Louisiana related to a contractor scam.
