• A Broad Street church is dealing with property damage after an unknown driver hit its fence and handrail between 4 and 10 p.m. Thursday, police said.
• A Grove City woman agreed to send more than $1,000 to Nigeria when she was asked by a stranger on Facebook. Police are investing the theft by deception after a Peter Attwood asked the woman for help online, police said.
She sent the money over a period of several weeks in February. Attwood then asked her to get money from others in the U.S. and send it to him, police said.
• Officers arrested two men with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia early Friday.
Brandon Gamble, 20, 2020 Perry Highway, Fredonia, and Jeremy Kulp, 21, of 511 State St., were smoking in a parked car in a gas station parking lot on W. Main Street, police said. Charges are pending, police said.
