• A Hermitage woman taken to jail on a parole violation was charged with attacking a Sharon woman who needed hospital treatment for her injuries last month, police said.
State parole agents picked up Kendra Harden, 24, of 300 Orange Drive, Apartment 7, and turned her over to Sharon police Thursday morning because she had an outstanding city warrant and another from Trumbull County for a probation violation related to a domestic violence case, police said.
Harden is accused of attacking a woman Dec. 21 outside the victim’s Alderman Avenue home. She knocked the victim to the ground, banged her head on the sidewalk and kicked her, police said.
Harden was charged as a fugitive on the Ohio warrant, with simple assault in connection with the local case and taken to Mercer County Jail, police said.
