Police, fire from Jan. 31, 2014

- — Greenville-West Salem Township

• Joshua R. Swartz, 28, Jamestown, was charged with altering a prescription at 5:24 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Rite Aid in Greenville.

• Seth Zarecky, 19, of Greenville was charged with theft of leased property at 8:18 p.m. Jan. 25 at Family Video, Main Street, Greenville, police said.

• A dark-colored sport utility vehicle hit a PennDOT sign and damaged a light pole at 5:11 p.m. Jan. 25 at Main and South Mercer streets in Greenville and drove off, police said.

• Curtis L. Arnold, 19, of Greenville, was cited after his vehicle hit another at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Main Street and Columbia Avenue in Greenville, police said.

Grove City

• A gold Toyota Corolla was found between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Monday stuck in a ditch between parking lots at Instron, 900 Liberty St., police said. The vehicle caused ruts in the yard area and was pulled out by an unknown pickup, police said.

• Police said a 17-year-old was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana after smoking pipes were found Wednesday at his residence in the 300 block of North Broad Street. Police did not identify the teenager by name.

• Cody M. Miller, 21, Greenville; at 3:17 p.m. Jan. 22 on a bench warrant; taken to Mercer County Jail.

• Lynda M. Miller, 57, Greenville; at 3:17 p.m. Jan. 22 on an unspecifed warrant.

• Nicklas J. Saylor, 28, Greenville; at 3:17 p.m. Jan. 22 on an unspecified warrant.
