- — Brookfield

• Melissa A. Smith, 18, of Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of underage drinking at 10:45 p.m. Friday in Bootlegger’s Saloon, Yankee Lake, police said.

• Two people were arrested Saturday when they were found burning the insulation off stolen electrical cords, apparently planning to sell the wire for scrap metal, police said.

Brian K. White, 20, of 97 Brook Drive, Brookfield, and Tabitha L. Noble, 19, of Warren, Ohio, each were charged with criminal trespassing and receiving stolen property at 5:45 a.m. on Rose Avenue, Masury, police said. Noble also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for having pipes on her, police said.


• Jarrett C. Magee, 25, of 314 N. Pitt St., Mercer, has been charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and prohibited offensive weapon for hitting a man in the mouth with a handgun and possessing metal knuckles at 1:14 p.m. Feb. 25 at a neighboring home, police said.

The gun was seized at Magee’s home.

Jefferson Township police assisted.

Southwest Mercer County Regional

• Stanley K. Brown, 29, of 156 Shenango Blvd., Farrell, or Yorktown, Va., has been charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for failing to cooperate with police who responded to a call of loud arguing at 2:03 a.m. Sunday at Roemer Boulevard and Beechwood Avenue, Farrell, and stuffing toilet paper in the commode of a holding cell at the Shenango Valley Regional Lockup, Farrell, police said.

• A pouch containing syringes and bottles of medication including Humalog, Lantos, Oxycodone, Neurontin and Lisinoprol were stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Washington Street, Farrell, said police, who received the report at 10:13 a.m. Monday.



• Damon P. McIntire, 39, of 169 Grandview Ave., Wheatland; at 2:15 a.m. March 1 at state routes 82 and 7; also charged with driving on the wrong side of the road.


• Michael Bochert, 28, of 5834 Lamor Road, Hermitage; at 1:46 a.m. Feb. 23 at East State Street and Sunset Boulevard; also charged with a lane violation.

• Reginald Saget, 35, of 1450 Parke Drive, Hermitage; at 2:28 a.m. Feb. 21 at Pine Hollow Boulevard and Minnick Drive, where he abandoned his vehicle after crashing it into a utility pole; he was found at home; also charged with failing to notify police of an accident, driving without insurance and careless driving.
