- — Grove City

• Grove City High School students Brendon D. Schrubb, 18, of Grove City, was charged with two counts each of harassment and disorderly conduct for slapping two boys at 12:12 p.m. Monday at the high school, police said.

Hempfield Township

• Someone kicked in a door of a detached garage between March 6 and 9 in the sub-100 block of Gibson Road, but did not steal anything, police said.

Sharon

• Two auto batteries were stolen from the bed of a pickup between 3 and 6 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of South Irvine Avenue, police said.

• Three tractor trailer batteries were stolen from a truck within the two weeks prior to Tuesday, when the report was filed, in the 1000 block of Division Street, police said.

• A man who police said overdosed on opiates will face drug charges after he gets out of the hospital.

Mark Alan Stewart, 49, of 416 Baldwin Ave., was unconscious when police arrived at his home about 6:40 p.m. Sunday and began first aid. An ambulance crew took him to the emergency room of Sharon Regional Health system and he was admitted to the hospital, police said.

Investigators found 63 Gabapentin capsules, four uncapped syringes, seven burnt spoons, cotton balls with suspected heroin residue and 14 unused hypodermic needles, police said.

Gabapentin, according to the Mayo Clinic website, is a drug used to treat seizures. It is used as a painkiller and also to treat other disorders.

Stewart was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and will receive a summons to appear for arrest, police said.

• Someone stole tools and a stained glass window in a burglary reported at 1:20 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of New Castle Avenue, police said.

The owner who apparently had been working on the vacant house told police someone forced open a window to get inside.

Stolen items included an orange shop vac, two electric drills and a Stihl electric chainsaw, all valued at about $180.

The stained glass panel measured about 24 by 32 inches, police said.

• A man passed out in his car faces drug charges after his arrest at about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of King Street.

Jeremy Archie, 27, of 693 King St., was sleeping in his car. Suspected marijuana, a partially smoked marijuana cigarette and empty beer containers were scattered inside the car, police said. Archie was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.

Southwest Mercer County Regional

• Aaron L. Davis, 34, of 52 Kinsman Road, West Salem Township, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia for having a bag of crack on him at 8:34 p.m. Monday in the 900 block alley between Fruit and Wallis avenues, police said.

State police

• The bulldog hood ornaments of two trucks were stolen between 5 p.m. Friday and 6:47 a.m. Sunday from Tri-County Industries, Pine Township, police said. The logo was cut from the seat of a third truck, police said.

• Police said they are seeking the driver of a gray, mid-’90s coupe, possibly a Toyota or Hyundai, that ran into the side of a car at 7:25 a.m. Monday at Mercer-New Wilmington Road and Stonepile Road, East Lackawannock Township, and left the scene, police said. The victim’s car was southbound on Mercer-New Wilmington Road when the run car failed to stop at the Stonepile intersection, and fled north on Mercer-New Wilmington, police said. The run car was in poor condition and would have damage in the right front area around the headlight, police said.
