Police, Fire from Nov. 5, 2013

- — Hempfield Township

• Gerald Flapak, 49, of Leech Road, was charged with simple assault and harassment at 5:14 p.m. Wednesday when he grabbed and choked a person, leaving marks on the neck, police said.

• An employee from Northeast Industrial Manufacturing on Keystone Road, Greenville, reported his toolbox with $300 worth of items was stolen from his car around noon Sunday, police said.

• Northeast Industrial Manufacturing, 640 Keystone Road, Greenville, reported on Sunday that an employee was caught on camera Oct. 1 stealing copper wire.

• Someone stole a large plastic mailbox worth $75 at 8:20 a.m. Oct. 28 from a home on Amasa Road, police said.

Sharpsville

ä Mark Wagner, 18, of 2568 S. Neshannock Road, Hermitage, was charged with possession of marijuana at 1:28 a.m. Oct. 27, when police found the drug on him during a traffic stop at Coleman Avenue and 10th Street, police said.

State police

ä Stephen Erdley of Greenville and Joshua Erdley of Carlton were charged at 11:30 p.m. Saturday with trespassing at a home on Carlton Road, French Creek Township, police said.
