Police, Fire from Feb. 27, 2014

- — Hermitage

• A passenger in a car stopped for no tail lights at 6:56 p.m. Monday at East State Street and Robertson Road, Mark A. McNulty Jr., 26, of 88 Mitchell Road, Shenango Township, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia for items found in the car, police said.

• Chad C. Geiger, 31, of 69 S. Summit Road, West Salem Township, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, and driving without inspection, insurance or registration at 11:04 a.m. Monday in the 2300 block of East State Street, police said.

State police

• Daniel T. Montchal, 22 of Mechanicsburg, Pa., was treated at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, after his car went up an embankment, hit several small trees and rolled onto its side at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 79 northbound in Findley Township, police said. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

• Police said they are investigating a report from a Hunter Road, Worth Township, man, that he was scammed out of money Jan. 28 in a fraudulent business opportunity.

• Eric Dickerson, 52, Gilmore Street, Grove City, has been charged with 11 counts of failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements pertaining to his address, telephone numbers, employment and operation of a vehicle, police said.

• Anthony D. Frieson, 45, of 3900 Esther Lane, Hermitage; at 12:19 a.m. Feb. 14 at Pine Hollow Boulevard and Minnick Drive; also charged with running a red light.
