- — Grove City

• A fleece jacket and money were stolen between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4:30 a.m. Wednesday from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of East Main Street, police said.

Hermitage

• William G. Simpson, 52, of 1060 N. Stateline Road, Masury, has been charged with theft for stealing a wristlet containing driver’s license and credit and gift cards that was mistakenly left at a cash register at 4:28 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, police said. The items were recovered.

• Chad C. Geiger, 32, of 1154 S. Albright McKay Road, Brookfield, has been charged with theft and misdemeanor retail theft for stealing video game equipment worth $254 June 4 from Walmart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, and selling two pieces for $16 at GameStop, 1031 N. Hermitage Road, police said.

• Allison R. Miller, 28, of 829 Alma Ave., Hermitage, has been charged with theft for stealing $30 from a tip jar at 7:45 p.m. March 3 at Great Clips, 2311 E. State St., police said.

• Jessica L. Bucher, 26, of 130 Superior St., Hermitage, has been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for wrestling a woman to the ground and hitting her several times in the head and torso at 1:40 p.m. Feb. 22 at home, police said.

• Rebecca M. Mittelmeier, 22, of 414 12th St., Pymatuning Township, has been charged with possession of Roxicet without a prescription,  misdemeanor retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft for having four pills on her when she was arrested for stealing four telephone cases and a memory card, valued at $334, at 9:09 p.m. Feb. 19 at Walmart, 1275 N.. Hermitage Road, police said.

Roger A. Robinson, 19, of 215 Delaware Road, Delaware Township, was with her and also has been charged with misdemeanor retail theft and conspiracy, police said.

• Two women have been arrested on drug charges after agents of Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole found them in a motel, police said.

Melissa K. Pierce, 26, and Randi Jo Prugh, 21, both of 67 Clarksville St., Greenville, were wanted for absconding supervision, police said. Pierce was charged with possession of seven Tramadol pills and 32 Gabapentin pills without prescriptions, and Prugh with possession of three ecstasy pills and single bags each of crack cocaine and heroin, police said. Each also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for items that included syringes and a metal spoon with burn residue ion it, police said.

Southwest Mercer County Regional

• Richard A. Fowler, 23, of 88 Mitchell Road, Shenango Township, turned himself in at 2:30 p.m. Thursday on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault, police said.

He paddled a 5-year-old boy for misbehaving Feb. 28 at home, leaving a bruise from the boy’s rear to his knee, police said. The paddle is about 16 inches long and three-quarters of an inch thick, police said.

• An undetermined amount of scrap metal has been stolen from American Cap Corp., Wheatland, said police, who received the report at 12:59 p.m. Thursday

• Jewelry, cash, a baby monitor and a camera were stolen in a home burglary in the 400 block of Heasley Road, Shenango Township, police said. The incident was reported at 5:50 p.m. Thursday.

• Debra M. Pegg, 47, of Wheatland, has been charged with possession of a prescription medication without a prescription and retail theft for stealing items at 8:51 a.m. Friday at Farrell Golden Dawn, 827 Sharon New Castle Road, and having the drug on her, police said.

Hermitage

• Brittany M. Keep, 23, of Kinsman; at 2:02 a.m. Sunday at East State Street and Kilgore Road, where her vehicle fishtailed on snow into a curb; also charged with driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving.
