- — Grove City

• Items were stolen in two separate thefts from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Garden Avenue, police said. A cellular telephone was stolen at 10 p.m. Saturday and a money card and prescription medications were stolen at 10 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

SW Mercer County Regional

• A pop machine was stolen and a storage shed and equipment damaged at the Mercer County Regional Council of Governments softball complex at 975 Wheatland Road, Shenango Township, said police, who were notified at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Wooden shed panels were pried open and the engine of a lawn mower was damaged in an apparent theft attempt, police said.

State police

• A pickup was damaged by vandals at 11:30 p.m. April 17 at Suhrie’s garage, 534 South Erie Street, East Lackawannock Township, police said.

• A Coolspring Township woman reported that someone filed a fraudulent federal tax return under her name April 14, police said. The case has been turned over to the IRS, police said.

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARREST

Brookfield

• Chad Booher, 30, of New Castle; between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday on Judson Road, where he was found passed out at the wheel of his car, which had crashed into a slag pile; taken to a local hospital for evaluation; also charged with failing to control his car and driving without a seat belt.

WARRANT ARREST

SW Mercer County Regional

• Kalob J. Coppick, 31, of Slippery Rock; at 2:08 a.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Idaho Street, Farrell, where he was stopped for a traffic violation; on a warrant from Mercer County Domestic Relations for failure to comply.
