---- — Brookfield

• One man was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, with possible internal injuries and two others were arrested after a fight early Saturday at Yankee Lake Truck Night, 1814 state Route 7, police said.

Brookfield police said a 28-year-old Cleveland man was knocked to the ground and repeatedly kicked in the head after he confronted Adam H. Dismore, 27, of Dayton, Pa., who was “shouting out comments about women.”

Dismore and a friend, Nicholas C. Beck, 23, of Kittanning, Pa., were arrested at 12:15 a.m. and charged with assault and disorderly conduct, police said.

Beck was taken to Trumbull County Jail, Warren, after police found an outstanding warrant for him for a probation violation from police in Kittanning.

• Tools valued at $4,300 were stolen early Monday morning from an unlocked van in the 500 block  of South Stateline Road.

Police said a woman told them she heard a noise outside at 2:40 a.m. and saw two people running away from the work van her husband drives.

The van was unlocked and the owner said drills, batteries and a nailgun were stolen.
