Police, Fire for July 22, 2013

•Diana L. Walsh, 39, Mercer County Jail, formerly of Sharon and East Lackawannock Township, has been charged with forgery, theft and conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property and forgery for the attempted cashing of a stolen check for $175 May 21 at First National Bank, 2505 E. State St., police said.

The check was stolen the day before from a home in the 2800 block of Highland Road, police said.

Also charged in the case is Melanie L. Zoccole, 50, of 916 Old New Castle Road, East Lackawannock Township.

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARRESTS

Greenville-West Salem Township

•Ashley R. Hargrove, 33, of Sandy Lake; at 2:15 a.m. July 3 on Main Street, Greenville, where her vehicle hit a power pole, jumped a curb and went into a front yard; also charged with careless driving.

Grove City

•Christin M. Schwartz, 38, of 514 College Ave., Grove City; Wednesday at an undisclosed location; also charged with careless driving.

State police

•William L. Clark Jr., 27, of Stoneboro; at 4:33 a.m. Sept. 10 on Fredonia Road, Lake Township, where he was found asleep at the wheel; also charged with careless driving and making an improper stop.
