West Salem Township


• David Matthew Kuhn of 27 S. Mercer St. was arrested June 24 for slapping a woman in the sub-100 block of Clinton Street, Greenville, after he asked her for money for drugs, police said.

He was charged with simple assault and harassment.

State police

• Bradley Allen Clayton, 37, of 101 N. 16th St., Pymatuning Township, was arrested June 23 after he tried to obtain a firearm at Greenville Gun and Supply, Grove Township, knowing he had been convicted of a felony, police said. He was charged with making false statements.

• A person not named by the police attempted to complete the transfer of a firearm at 4:21 p.m. March 14 at Elite Firearms, 1400 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage.

The request was denied during the background check and police later determined a false statement was made on the application.

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARREST

South Pymatuning Township

• Patrick R. Campbell, 45, of 7939 state Route 609, Orangeville, Ohio, on June 25 after he crashed into a fence in front of a home in the 4900 block of Tamarack Drive, police said.
