Police, Fire from May 1, 2013

---- — Greenville-West Salem Township

• A juvenile from Keystone Education Center, 425 S. Good Hope Road, West Salem Township, was charged with aggravated assault after fighting with another student, threatening a teacher and trying to hit him four times at 12:07 p.m. March 20, police said.

Hermitage

• Hunting equipment was stolen in a burglary at a home in the 2900 block of South Neshannock Road, said police who were called at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The house was forcibly entered, police said.

Sharpsville

• Four people were charged with multiple counts of disorderly conduct at 6:30 p.m. April 13 near South 10th Street and Pierce Avenue, police said.

Ten people, including five juveniles, were gathered outside shouting obscenities and threats, and fighting with each other, police said.

Police said Travis J. Ferguson, 35, of 140 S. 10th St., Sharpsville, was waving a knife at Carlos L. Summers, Sr., 43, of 1046 Elmo Ave., Hermitage, and Tomi Ferguson, 31, also of 140 S. 10th, was brawling with Shawnda L. Boles, 39, of 491 Fullerton Place, Sharon.

The fight occurred after an earlier incident in Buhl Farm park, Hermitage, police said.

State police

• Someone stole a Jefferson Spivey knife worth $300 between 8 a.m. Thursday and 5 p.m. Sunday from a residence in the 600 block of Greenville Road, Coolspring Township, police said.

Grove City

• Robert Rottman, 29, of 632 W. Poplar St., Apartment 3, Grove City; at 2:07 a.m. Sunday on Limberg Way near East Pine Street, after his vehicle was seen spinning tires in the youth festival parking lot on South Broad Street, police said. He was also charged with careless driving.
