- — Grove City

• Michael Kent Deal, 29, Boyers, had marijuana with him during a traffic stop at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

He was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and cited for a stop sign violation, police said.

• Two people were injured in a two-car crash at 10:32 a.m. Monday at Lee Lane and George Junior Road, police said.

Tyler Carlson, 26 of Lake Drive, Pine Township, was treated at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, while Barbara Gilmore, 68, of JR Drive, Grove City, was flown from GCMC to Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, where she was listed Tuesday in serious condition, spokeswomen for the hospitals said.

Gilmore was eastbound on Lee when she pulled from a stop sign and her car was hit by Carlson’s car, police said. Gilmore was cited for a stop sign violation. Grove City volunteer firefighters assisted.

Hermitage

• Matthew C. Abram, 20, of 1570 Parke Drive, Hermitage, was arrested on a charge of prohibited possession of a firearm for having a .22-caliber revolver behind his furnace when Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole agents searched it at about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 29, police said. Abram was convicted in 2009 of robbery, which rendered him unable to possess a gun, police said.
