Police, Fire from June 6, 2013

---- — Sharpsville

• Kenneth Michael Slaughenhoupt, 20, of 7224 West Market St., Lot 95, Mercer, at 10:54 p.m. Monday was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and operating a car without insurance after a traffic stop at East Shenango and Walnut streets, police said.

• Charles Larimer, 80, of 2183 Flint Drive, Hermitage, was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign after he turned from Davis Road onto Walnut Street and struck a northbound motorcycle at 10:56 p.m. Friday, police said.

Police said the motorcyclist, Richard McKee of Sharpsville, who was born in 1945, was taken to the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System with unknown injuries, police said. He was wearing a helmet, police said.

State police

• William I. Miller, 57, of Greenville was hurt in a one-car crash in Delaware Township, police said.

Miller, driving eastbound at about 2:40 a.m. Monday on Salem Road, crossed Fredonia Road without stopping at a stop sign and his car ran off the road and hit an embankment, police said.

Miller, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken by ambulance for treatment at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, police said.

WARRANT ARREST

Sharpsville

• Teedray J. Craig, 26, of 47 Logan Ave., Sharon, at 11:24 a.m. Sunday on a probation violation on charge of trespassing, when police found him at a house he was not supposed to be at, police said.
