•Dallas L. Goins, 27, Mercer, at 6:30 a.m. Monday lost control of his car on a snow-covered road Wampum Road in Lawrence County, police said.
The car traveled into the wrong lane, hit and rolled over the guide rail, stopping on a private road. Goins was issued a warning for driving a vehicle too fast for road conditions, police said.
•PennDOT reported several items taken or lost between January 2012 and Monday when an inventory check was done at all Mercer County maintenance sheds, police said.
•Someone broke into a house on First Street, Fredonia, between 1 p.m. March 17 and Thursday and stole a jar containing $60 in change.
•Police said they charged Carrie D. Adams, 39, of 24 Applewood Lane, East Lackawannock Township, with theft, access device fraud and identity theft.
She allegedly stole a purse between 11 p.m. Dec. 7 and 8:45 a.m. Dec. 8 from a sport-utility vehicle parked in the 7400 block of Sharon Mercer Road, Lackawannock Township, and used a debit card from the purse to make cash withdrawals from banks and buy food, gas and other items Dec. 8 in Hermitage, police said, adding the value of the cash withdrawals and goods was $423.
•Sarah L. Sumner, 28, of 523 Oakland Ave., Sharon, has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property for stealing jewelry between Aug. 1 and Oct. 24 from a relative’s home in the sub-100 block of Holmes Road, Coolspring Township, and selling it to a Shenango Valley jewelry dealer, police said.
•Galia J. Zimmer, 23, of 111 Creek Road, Sandy Lake, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, a red light violation and careless driving at 10:45 a.m. June 20 at U.S. routes 62 and 19 in Mercer, police said. A Sharon policeman assisted.
DRUNKEN DRIVING ARREST
•Sharon M. Flammia, 45, of 10 Railroad St., Perry Township; at 11:18 p.m. Feb. 23 at Hadley and Fredonia roads, Perry Township; also charged with a lane violation, careless driving and no tail lights.
