Police, Fire for Nov. 26, 2013


- — Grove City

•A white male took a five-blade food cutter with a wooden handle Nov. 16 from Antiques by the Yard, put it in his front pocket and left, police said.


•Chad A. Runyan, 22, of 329 Buckeye Dr., Sharpsville, was charged with reckless endangerment for grabbing the wheel of a car and pushing the woman driving at 11:37 p.m. Monday, police said. The couple’s one-year-old child was in the car, police said.

State police

•Sarah E. Oliver, 24, of Grove City, at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, was cited for speeding after her care went off the road as it was headed north on Slippery Rock Road near Old Mill Road, Pine Township, hit a gas meter and rolled over several times, police said.

Oliver was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt, police said.

Southwest Mercer County Regional

•Someone stole items worth $2,300 at 11:35 p.m. Thursday from American Lawn Service, 3608 Sharon Road, West Middlesex, police said. Stolen were 12 eighty-pound batteries, two chains and four tie downs, police said.

•Someone stole a 1984 burgundy Oldsmobile Delta 88 with 26-inch chrome rims sometime between Thursday evening and Friday morning from a home in the 900 block of Market Street, Farrell, police said.



•Karen Frolick, 49, of Sharon, at 6:27 p.m. Sunday when she hit a parked car as she traveled east on Crawford Drive, police said.


•Stephanie Davensizer, 28, of 37 Sunset Road, Sharpsville, at 2:19 a.m. Saturday at South 7th Street and Mayfield Drive.

Southwest Mercer County Regional

•Larry Charles Long, 39, of 3151 Main St., West Middlesex, was arrested in the 300 block of Sharon-New Castle at 3:01 a.m. Sunday. Also charged with damage to attended vehicle in a hit and run accident he just caused near the 3300 block of Sharon Road, West Middlesex, police said.

•Ian S. Colundjia, 26, of 7579 Francis St., Masury, at 6:59 p.m. at Broadway and Emerson avenues, Wheatland. Colundjia was traveling south on Broadway Avenue when his car slid as he turned onto Mercer Avenue and hit a pedestrian signal, police said.

State police

•Charles J. Mezzara, 53, of Mercer, at 11:40 a.m. Friday at Greenville and Lake Roads, Coolspring Township. Also charged with traffic violations after pulling into the path of a car traveling west on Greenville causing a three-car accident in which no one was injured, police said.

•Ginny Boyd, 34, of 40 Walters Road, Grove City, on a bench warrant.
