Police, fire from Sept. 15, 2013

Greenville-West Salem

ä Welding gloves, a saw and 10-gauge wire was stolen from Sha-CO Welding and Fabricating, 53 Canal St., Greenville, said police, who were notified at 10:51 a.m. Thursday.

ä A television and a DVD player were stolen from a home on Columbia Avenue, Greenville, said police, who were called at 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Sharon

ä Kimberly Odem, 50, of 1410 Robertson Road, Hermitage, stole two checks from an acquaintance and cashed them for a total of $125, police said.

Odem, arrested at about 2:20 p.m. Thursday on Fruit Avenue in Farrell with the assistance of Southwest Mercer County Regional police, was charged with forgery, theft and receiving stolen property.

ä Angelique Finley, 23, of 275 Sterling Ave., Apartment 208, was arrested after arguing with a customer at about 5:20 p.m. Saturday in McDonald’s, 67 W. State St., police said.

Finley was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.

ä Rodney Cunningham, of 103 Second Ave., was charged after being found unconscious at about 9 p.m. Aug. 30 in his bathroom.

Police said they found a syringe and a burned spoon with apparent drug residue on it. Cunningham was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

ä Nancy Lynn Depreta, 49, of 1107 Bond St., Apartment 1, Farrell, faces charges after stealing a check from an acquaintance and cashing it July 3 for $860 at the PNC branch in Hermitage, police said.

Depreta was charged with forgery and theft before District Justice Dennis M. Songer, Sharon, and taken to Mercer County Jail after failing to post bond.

ä Jada Alexis Hinman, 21, of 116 Fourth Ave., was charged with simple assault after a domestic dispute, police said.

During an argument at about 2 a.m. Tuesday, Hinman attacked her boyfriend with keys in her hand and cut his face and leg, police said.

ä Someone broke into a garage in the 400 block of North Oakland Avenue between Tuesday and Thursday and stole a Troybilt rototiller and power washer valued together at $1,200, police said.
