Someone stole two buckets of scrap metal and electric wire that was cut between Sunday and Monday from 241 S. Broad Street, police said.

Someone stole a pair of girls Ariat brown and camoflauge boots valued at $90 Sept. 13 from a pavilion at Grove City Memorial Park while the cross country team was practicing, police said.

A Grove City woman told police someone poked a hole in the sidewall of her car tire overnight Monday. The car tire is estimated at $200. The vehicle had been parked in the borough lot off College Avenue, police said.

Hermitage

Allison R. Miller, 17, of 829 Alma Ave., Hermitage, has been charged with possession of heroin, Clonazepam, Alprazolam and hydrocodone, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia for having 147 packets of heroin and 13 pills in a "Hello Kitty" thermos when police responded to her overdosing at 10:22 a.m. Sunday in the sub-100 block of Crescent Ave., police said.

Christopher J. Scalf, 26, of 440 Prindle St., Sharon has been charged in two cases with two counts of theft for returning two pairs of jeans that had just been stolen by an unknown woman for $95 store credit at 1:32 p.m. Sept. 5 at KohlÕs, 570 S. Hermitage Road, and pet supplies stolen by the same woman for a $19 gift card at 4:11 p.m. Sept. 7 at Walmart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, police said. Melissa S. Deflin, 36, of 173 Porter Road, West Salem Township, has been charged with simple assault, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, harassment, careless driving and following too closely for punching a man in face and stomach at 4:06 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of the Shenango Valley Freeway, denting the car he was driving and alternately tailgating and driving alongside to yell profanities at him on the way to Esther Lane, police said.

Michael S. Albaugh, 37, of 863 N. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, has been charged with loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness for trying to open two doors of a home occupied by a woman and two children at 5:37 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Greenwood Drive, police said.

Theodore N. Gregoroff Jr., 55, of 430 Sharon New Castle Road, Farrell, was arrested at 7:25 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 2300 block of South Hermitage Road on a charge of driving under the influence of Seroquel and Phenobarbital, police said.

Corey G. Carter, 44, of 271 Spruce Ave., Sharon, was arrested at 4:31 p.m. Friday at the Shenango Valley Freeway and South Buhl Farm Drive on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, Methadone and marijuana, running a red light and a lane violation, police said.

Southwest Mercer County Regional

Someone broke in through a rear door, in a burglary reported at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, taking copper pipes from a house in the 900 block of Hamilton Avenue, Farrell, police said.

Power tools were stolen from a vehicle in a theft reported at 8:50 a.m. Monday at Oak Leaf Estates, Shenango Township.

Someone got inside with a coat hanger and stole a Skil saw, framing gun and other tools, police said.

A thief kicked in a basement door and stole an undisclosed sum of money from a home in the 3500 block of Sharon Road, West Middlesex, police said.

The theft was reported at about noon Monday.

William F. Jewell, 34, of 44 N. Third St., Greenville; at 1:52 a.m. Sept., 8 on Lamor Road; also charged with a lane violation.

Ashley E. Hice, 23, of 1175 W. A St., Masury; at 2:46 a.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of South Hermitage Road; also charged with speeding.

Michael D. Moran, 42, of 1500 Parke Drive, Hermitage; at 12:36 a.m. Saturday at Rombold Road and Mary Street; also charged with lane and turn violations.

James J. Fitzsimmons IV, 24, of Niles, Ohio; at 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of East State Street; also charged with running a red light.

Levi E. Hostetler, 31, of Andover, Ohio; at 12:20 a.m. Sunday at North Water Avenue and Crawford Drive; also charged with inoperable license plate light.
