Police, Fire from Aug. 24, 2013

---- — Sharon

• James C. Truman, of 1140 Sherman Ave., Sharon, stabbed another man after an argument over money, police said.

The assault at about 8:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Sherman sent the 22-year-old victim to St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, where he was admitted for treatment of a chest wound. Investigators recovered the knife, police said.

Truman was charged with aggravated and simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. He was taken to Mercer County Jail after failing to post bond.  

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARRESTS

Hermitage

• Brianna N. Morris, 19, of 806 Park Ave., Farrell; at 4:38 a.m. Monday at South Hermitage Road and Longview Road, where she was involved in a two-car crash; also charged with running a flashing red signal and underage drinking.

• Devin M. Montgomery, 39, of 2866 Michael Lane, Hermitage; at 1:47 a.m. Aug. 17 in the 2700 block of East State Street; also charged with driving unregistered and uninspected vehicle.
