• Someone stole $100, a Ducks Unlimited money clip and a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson semi-automatic gun from a South Second Street, Greenville, residence, police said.

The resident reported the burglary at about 9:25 a.m. Monday.

• At 1:35 p.m. Monday, a gun owner reported the theft of a Browning A Bold .375-caliber rifle from his residence on College Avenue, Greenville.

• Samuel Masters, 23, was arrested at 2:44 p.m. Monday  after a domestic dispute at his residence, 33 N. Race St., Greenville. Masters was charged with simple assault and terroristic threats, police said.

State police

• Someone charged $4,005 without permission from a credit card holder in Greenville, police said, noting they have a suspect who may have used the card 27 times recently to make purchases and obtain cash.
