Rev. Donald Hake named pastor of Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3325 Morefield Road, has called the Rev. Donald Hake to be its new pastor.
Pastor Hake will begin his service at the church June 16 and will hold his first Sunday service on Father’s Day, at 9:30 a.m. June 21.
Pastor Hake earned degrees from Pennsylvania State University, Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, and Gannon University in Erie. He has been an ordained minister for 29 years as he and his wife, Susan, come to the area where her parents reside.
The Hakes have two adult children, Catherine and Philip, and two grandchildren.
Pastor Hake enjoys reading, walking and playing chess. He also is involved with outreach ministry, the local ministerial, hospice, Camp Lutherlyn and the synodical council, and also was president of the board of Bethesda Children’s Home.
He plans to begin an adult Bible study group at Holy Trinity.
