Greater Mount Zion concluding tent crusade

FARRELL — Greater Mount Zion Church of God in Christ will conclude its annual tent crusade Sunday under the tent on the corner of Spearman Avenue and Idaho Street in Farrell.

Sunday school will be at 9:45 a.m. that day, followed at 11:15 a.m. by morning worship with Elder T.J. Harrison, crusade director, preaching.

“The Struggle is Over — Part 2: ... Now Let it Go!” is the theme.

Crossing Paths sets picnic, TV talent hunt

WEST MIDDLESEX — Crossing Paths local television ministry will be hold its annual picnic and television talent hunt at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shenango Township Park, 3439 Hubbard-West Middlesex Road.

Linda Webber, who sings “Let’s Take America Back,” will be special guest singer. She got her start on Crossing Paths.

Meat and beverage will be provided. Those attending should bring a covered dish, a dessert and lawn chairs. Children and adults are encouraged to bring their talent to perform. To share a talent, call Dave Poling at 724-924-2034.

Christian Singles group plans 35th annual retreat

HOPWOOD, Pa. — Christian Singles Fellowship of the Western Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church is offering a retreat for singles Aug. 29 through Sept. 1 in Jumonville Camp and Retreat Center.

The 35th annual event is open to singles of all denominations.
