SANDY LAKE — Amos and Cookie Mazzant of Ellwood City, Pa., will give a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday in Sandy Lake Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 5319 Franklin St.
The Mazzants have been involved since 1978 in a Christian music ministry using a variety of instruments.
They also will be at the church for its annual “Family & Friends Day” starting at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, with a concert at 10:30 a.m. A potluck lunch will be served. Info: 724-662-1473.
Christ Lutheran sets schedule changes
SHARON — Christ Lutheran Church, 396 Buhl Blvd., on Sunday will return to its fall-winter worship times.
Services will be at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The annual church picnic will be at noon. Sunday school also will resume at 9:45 a.m. with Rally Day. Classes are available for those 4 and older, with adult classes starting at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 14.
Apostolic Christian plans September speakers
SHARON — Apostolic Christian Church, 664 Cedar Ave., will host guest speakers at 11 a.m. services this month.
Scheduled are Donald G. Reed Sr., of Crossing Paths Television Ministry and associate pastor of the church, on Sunday; Lloyd and Tannie Massie, evangelists-singers, on Sept 14; Linda Webber, Crossing Paths singer, on Sept. 21; and Kim and Liz Cawthon, evangelism, on Sept. 28.

St. John’s Lutheran plans schedule changes
DELAWARE TOWNSHIP — St. John’s Lutheran Church, 10 Beil Hill Road, will change its service times starting Sunday.
Sunday church school will be at 9 a.m. and worship with Holy Communion at 10 a.m.
St. Paul’s UCC to resume Sunday school
HERMITAGE — St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 159 Todd Ave., will resume its Sunday school for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Refreshments will be at 10:30 a.m.; worship service at 11 a.m.
