Clergywomen’s Alliance meeting Saturday
FARRELL — Shenango Valley Interdenominational Clergywomen’s Alliance Inc. will have its monthly meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday Hour of Power Full Gospel Tabernacle, 946 Beechwood Ave.
The Rev. Patricia Tatum of New Life Covenant Church, Sharon, will speak.
Seventh-day Adventist sets special services
WEST MIDDLESEX — Communion service will be during the 11 a.m. worship service Saturday in Shenango Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1001 Wheatland Road.
A foot-washing service, emulating Jesus and signifying renewed cleansing and a willingness to serve one another in Christ-like humility, will precede the communion service.
Christ Lutheran plans for ‘Praise, Thanksgiving’
SHARON — Christ Lutheran Church will have its second “Praise and Thanksgiving” service at 4 p.m. Sunday in the church at 396 Buhl Blvd.
A potluck supper with a solo handbell concert at 5:15 p.m. by Sue Garton will precede a communion service officiated by the Rev. Ronald Hartman.
New Light Baptist marking 29th year
SHARON — New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 170 Sharpsville Ave., will celebrate its 29th anniversary Sunday.
A day-long service will be highlighted as “Family and Friends Day.” Families of the church will be reunited for the morning service. April Torrence, a former family member, will be the guest messenger.
The Rev. Clevon Dukes and New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Farrell will join the host church for a 4 p.m. service.
“United by the Spirit” will be the day’s theme.
