The churches of West Middlesex will join for a community Thanksgiving Eve worship service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, hosted by West Middlesex United Methodist Church, 3123 Main St.
The Rev. Mr. Ken Duffee, pastor of Charleston United Methodist and Clark Trinity United Methodist churches, will preach. “Intangible Blessings,” based on Ephesians 1:3-23, will be the title of his message.
The choir of the host church will sing and invites other singers to join them, meeting at 6 p.m. that day in the church.
An offering will be taken to benefit the Western Pennsylvania Table Project of local craftsmen building dining tables for families who have lost homes and possessions because of storms and floods in the southern United States. The project has spread across western Pennsylvania.
Members of West Middlesex area ministerial are West Middlesex Presbyterian Church; Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex; West Middlesex United Methodist Church; West Middlesex Wesleyan Methodist Church; New Virginia United Methodist Church, Hermitage; Lebanon Presbyterian Church and Unity Presbyterian Church, both Lackawannock Township; and Charleston United Methodist Church.
