Vacation Bible School from June 27, 2014

10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday for ages 5 and older.

Theme: “Water Wars.” Bible stories, songs, cool water games, prizes and snow cones. Wear a dark shirt.

8:45 a.m. to noon July 7-11 for children entering kindergarten through 4th grade.

Theme: “Workshop of Wonders.” Music, games, treats and Bible adventures.

Wheatland-Farrell United Methodist Church, 75 Mercer Ave., Wheatland

5:30 to 8 p.m. July 7-11 for ages 3 through the completion of sixth grade,

Theme: “Workshop of Wonders: Imagine and Build with God.” Interactive Bible fun music, science, crafts, mission project, games and light meals.

6 to 8:30 p.m. July 7-11 for ages preschool through sixth grade.

Theme: “International Spy Academy: Training Special Agents for the One True God.” Bible-learning activities, songs,  teamwork-building games and treats. Each day concludes with a final debriefing celebration at 8:15 p.m. with family invited. A concluding program and family picnic will be at 10:30 a.m. July 13.

Theme: “Jungle Safari.” Food and fun.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 12 – one-day VBS/carnival – for ages 3 (must be potty-trained) through completion of 5th grade

Theme: “Go Fish Guys!” curriculum of SHINE VBS. Kids will learn to be “Glory Givers” not “Glory Getters,” with six electives (each child can choose at least 2): “Bucket Drums,” “Chalk Art Challenge,” “Outdoor Adventures: Survival Skills and Outdoor Cooking,” “Cupcake Creations,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “Cool Crafts.”

Lunch, snacks and carnival food provided free of charge.
