Company word ‘gossip’ keeps in Bible shows it’s a destructive sin
Sin is an ugly thing. It’s against nature. It’s vulgar, shameful, something we’re not supposed to do. Something forbidden. But we’re lured and tempted, coaxed into doing whatever it may be, wherever one’s weakness might lead them. And who are these people that fall into sin? All of us.

Winter weariness can get us down but God brings relief
Have you noticed the exhausted, out-of-gas energy levels residents are displaying these days? There are less than 30 days left of this long, very cold winter. Counselors refer to the human impact of this season as SAD – Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Dissatisfied in life? Try investing yourself in what matters
Can you believe it? More than one month is already in the books. We will never have January 2014 to live over again. It is gone. Can I ask you what you did this past month? Did you complain because it was way too cold? Did you work a lot of overtime so that your bank account will grow? Did you spend countless hours watching non-reality as reality slipped by? I hope not.

God controls weather & more, whether you believe it or not
God is in control! The world is under His sovereign command. So says Psalm 24:1: “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
