Play Golf America Day is slated Saturday at Tamie



The annual Play Golf America Day is slated for Tam O’Shanter Golf Course, Hermitage, Saturday offering free lessons, prizes, free lunch and a special exhibition by 5-time world long-driving champ Jason Zuback.

The event begins at noon with a special Junior Clinic, offering free lessons to youngsters by Tri-State Section PGA pros. Each boy or girl will also receive a free golf club, a sleeve of balls, hat and free lunch and soft drinks. Some lucky junior golfer will also receive a free set of clubs.

A clinic for men and women will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., again with free lessons provided by the Tri-State pros.

At 2 p.m., Zuback will perform his long-drive magic.

The event is open to the public and will be held at the Tamie driving range, across from the course on South Hermitage Road (Route 18).
