The District 2 Major Division (11-12) Little League All-Star Tournament saw Reynolds and Hermitage notch wins recently.

ä Reynolds 11, Greenville 1 (4 inn.)—At Riverside Park, Greenville, Thursday, Garret Ammann annexed a pair of home runs and single and Jacob Reimold ripped another pair of round-trippers, while winning pitcher Nick Fuchs fired a 4-hitter. Also for Reynolds, Tony Hermann had 2 hits and Garrett Frable, Niko Pacifico, McKenzie Young, Trey Vigus and Adam Ballish banged base hits.

Reynolds recorded a 5-run 1st frame and a 4-run 4th.

Josh Johnson, Alex Gentile and Gage Gladysz took turns on the mound for Greenville, while Andy Jones jolted a double and Johnson, Gentile and Lou Emmett stroked singles.

ä Hermitage 12, Mercer 1 (4 inn.)—At Hermitage Wednesday, the hosts rolled behind the pitching of Tony Stigliano, who fanned 2, walked 2 and scattered 5 hits. Hitting for Hermitage were: Evan Baughman, homer and single; Tommy Cannon, Matt Perrico and Andrew Pursel, homers; Brady Leunis, double and single; Austin Aikins, 2 singles; Louie Derloni, Brandon Rhoades singles. Perrico had an unassisted double play, while Derloni and Chris Galantis turned in outstanding outfield play.

Isaac Wiliams, who took the loss, and Isaac Adams toed the rubber for Mercer. Also, Adams, Trenton Fowler, Jan Scheidhaver, Austin Hall and Jon Hazlett, singles.
