ä Mercer 169, Greenville 172 — At Spring Valley Golf Club in Mercer, Lucas Clarke and Josh Verigood shot 41s in leading Mercer (3-1) to a narrow win over the Trojans.

Dan Bates carded a 41 to pace Greenville.

Mercer’s Matt Spragale recorded an eagle on the No. 3, 341-yard par-4 hole.

Mercer — Clarke, Verigood 41s, Spragale 43, Nick Guiler 44.

Greenville — Bates 41, Ethan Leary 43, Tyler Blaschak, Garrett Blaschak 44s.

ä Sharpsville 169, Jamestown 173 — At Pleasant Acres Golf Course, Matt Chuba shot a 39 and Andy Demofonte added a 40 as the Blue Devils topped the Muskies (1-3).

Steven Brown of Jamestown earned medalist honors with a 38.

Sharpsville — Chuba 39, Demofonte 40, Victor Collela, Jared Morrin 45s.

Jamestown — Brown 38, Brian Avril 43, Larry Brenizer 45, Mike Gross 47.

ä Brookfield 206, Heartland Christian 225 — At Yankee Run Golf Course, coach Jeff Campbell’s Warriors (1-5) won their first match of the season.

John Haun (46) and Matt Mulligan (47) led the way for Brookfield.

Michael Koerth shot a 55 to pace Heartland Christian.
