ä Slippery Rock 307, Hickory 324, Grove City 332, Wilmington 353, Lakeview 357, Sharon 376 — At Pine Grove Golf Course, the Region 6 marathon was won by Slippery Rock and medalist Brian Geisler, who garnered a round of 70.

Grove City’s Ryan Prokay produced a medalist round of 73, a scant stroke better than Hickory’s Rick Rosati’s 74 and Slippery Rock’s Tim Chavez’s 75.

Slippery Rock: Geisler 70, Chavez 75, Jeff Tracy 80, Shawn Beatty 82.

Hickory: Rosati 74, Matt Gurska 80, Will McIntyre 83, Dave Thomas 87.
