At West Middlesex, Levi Canon finished 1st in 18:21 as the Big Reds swept the top 6 spots. Chuck Miller placed 7th to lead the Sailors.

ä Commodore Perry 18, Reynolds 45 — At Temple Grove, Transfer, the visiting Panthers prevailed, led by the 1-2 placement of Nate White (19:29.7) and Chad Patterson (20:13.5).

ä Grove City 17, Wilmington 45 — At New Wilmington, Grove City’s Aaron Benka broke the course record in a time of 16:42, followed by mates Ryan Budnik and Ryan Whiteman. Calvin Gealy finished 4th for Wilmington.

ä Greenville 19, Sharon 41 — At Greenville, the host Trojans triumphed, led by the 1-2 finish of Dylan Foley (18:02) and Ryuji Mano (18:36). Matt Dilts placed 3rd for Sharon (18:44).

ä Hickory 22, Slippery Rock 37 — At Slippery Rock, Andrew Maxwell finished 1st overall for the Rockets in 17:57 while Kyle Boyd of Hickory (3-0) placed runner-up in 18:30.

ä Sharpsville 15, Mercer 50 (forfeit) — At Sharpsville, Brad Calleja (19:58) and Logan Lukonic (20:47) placed 1-2 in the exhibition.

At West Middlesex, Kristen White (20:19), Chloé Tyillian and Allyson Pierce finished 1-2-3 for the Ms. Reds. Andrea McConnell placed 4th for Lakeview.

ä Commodore Perry 17, Reynolds 42 — At Temple Grove, Transfer, Shae Grinnell gobbled the course in 22:48.2 to lead the visiting Lady Panthers.

ä Grove City 24, Wilmington 31 — At New Wilmington, Grove City’s Mary Jaskowak jetted around the course in 19:48, 21 ticks ahead of Wilmington’s Kate Robb.

ä Greenville 28, Sharon 29 — At Greenville, Maddie Thrasher (21:38) placed 12 ticks ahead of Lady Trojans’ teammate Nanami Mano, while Xsila Powell placed 3rd for Sharon.

ä Hickory 18, Slippery Rock 43 — At Slippery Rock, the Lady Hornets improved to 3-0 with the win. Lexi Bible (20:40), Jackie Abraham and Hailey Boyd swept the top 3 spots for Hickory. Tabitha Donaldson placed 4th for SR.

ä Sharpsville 15, Mercer 50 — At Sharpsville, the host Blue Darlings dominated the top 5 berths, led by winner Maddie Przicina (21:16).

At Meadville Country Club, the Lady Bulldogs’ Lacey Latta and Hickory’s Alena Lancia shared medalist honors in the tri-match by carding 46s. Izzy Schell shot a 54 to lead Reynolds.

At Hickory VFW, the host Hornets harvested the win, led by medalist Billy Colbert’s round of 78.

Undefeated Hickory (25) won the region championship, outdistancing West Middlesex (19), Sharon (15), Wilmington (9), and Sharpsville (7).

Colbert (72) and teammate Ross Rosati (80.5), Wilmington’s Nathan Anthony (82), West Middlesex’s Riley Atterholt (84) and Ryan Dogan (86) and Hickory’s Greg Galbo (86.75) qualified for the District 10 tournament.

At Sharon Monday, the visitors rolled on goals by Camron Feather, Wyatt Grimm and Noah Stewart. Assists went to Cole Latimer, Peter Conley and Stewart.

Grove City had 31 shots on goal to Sharon's 5. Grove City had 7 corner kicks to Sharon's 2. Keeper Jed Grimm was credited with the shutout.

ä West Middlesex 6, Sharpsville 1 —
At McCullough Run Complex, South Py Twp., freshman Riley Lyons scored 4 goals and an assist in leading the Ms. Reds (1-0, 3-1-1) to the Region 1 win.

Molly Stonebraker and Kaitlyn Beck had the other goals for WM. Delaney David and Searra McElrath were credited with 2 assists each and Kayla Ballard had a helper. Brianna Spencer made 8 saves in goal.

Juliana Sickafus and Rachel Toy split time between the pipes for Sharpsville (0-1, 1-4) and combined for 9 saves. Aislinn Frazer tallied the lone goal for the Blue Darlings.

WM girls soccer program is in its 3rd year. The Ms. Reds had 7 goals the first season, 21 last year and have 18 already this year, Coach Mike Williams reported.

ä Mercer 2, Kennedy Catholic 1 — At Butala Stadium, Mindy Brown and Kaitlin Berger banged in 2nd-half goals, giving visiting Mercer the road win.

The host Lady Golden Eagles (2-2) got a goal from Evita Scoccia, while Scoccia, Gracie Izenas and Angelica Scoccia were cited for their defense, and goalkeeper Elizabeth Volkay made 21 saves.

ä Hickory 6, Grove City 1 — Under the lights at Forker Field, Lauren Bell had a hat trick and M.K. Bair assisted on 4 goals in leading the Lady Hornets (5-0) past GC.

Sara Suler had 2 goals for Hickory and Marissa DeJulia notched the other goal. Jackie White was credited with an assist and Morgan McBride had 3 saves in goal.

Kalie Davis posted the lone goal for the Lady Eagles. Olivia Andrews had 15 saves between the pipes.
