Lackawannock Township resident Scott Hazlett a Herald subscriber, took this photo on Sunday morning in front of his house, just South of Yankee Ridge Road on Bend Road. No one was injured, he reported, and despite the broken pole, power was still working as of noon. The West Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department and state police responded to the accident.
We’re looking for “citizen journalists!”
With the advent of all forms of technology and our quest for a vibrant home page on The Herald’s Web site, we are seeking individuals whom have seen news happening and have had the chance to capture it either with a camera, video camera, cell phone camera or any other type of media. Whether it was a traffic accident, severe weather or anything newsworthy, our media page wants to showcase your experience.
Some of the videos, photos and audio submitted may be selected for use in The Herald's Web site - and may be a "front of the homepage" special. Of course, any submissions are used at the discretion of The Herald.
Items may be submitted by e-mail. To learn how to do it, click the Media Page box on The Herald’s home page.
