Allison Leigh Turk and Ray Ellington were married Oct. 18, 2008, in South Pymatuning (Township) Community Church by the Rev. David Searle.
The bride is a daughter of Jeffrey and Nancy Turk, 1470 Skyline Drive, Hermitage.
Parents of the bridegroom are Steven and Patricia Ellington, 1491 Warrenton Road, Henderson, N.C.
Carly Turk, Hermitage, was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Colleen Gottuso, Philadelphia; and Debbie Krekeler, West Harrison, N.Y., both bride’s friends; and Natalie Thomas, Youngsville, N.C., groom’s sister.
The groom’s father was best man for his son. Ushers were Blair Thomas, Youngsville, groom’s brother-in-law; and Randal Dean Ellington, Henderson, and Thomas Coghill III, Clayton, N.C., both groom’s uncles.
Ellie Slezak, Hermitage, bride’s friend, was flower girl. William Tenpas, Potomac, Md., bride’s cousin, was ring bearer.
A reception was held in Avalon at Buhl Park in Sharon.
After a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the newlyweds live in Charlottesville, Va.
They are alumni of Ithaca (N.Y.) College. Mrs. Ellington earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in occupational therapy. Her husband earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports studies and a master’s degree in sports management.
The bride is an occupational therapist at UVA HealthSouth in Charlottesville.
The groom is campus recreation coordinator at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va.
