Leann Nicole McEwen and Joshua Lee Knauff were married May 24, 2008, in Helen Black Memorial Chapel, Mercer, by the Rev. Bill Crooks.

The bride is a daughter of Joseph and Tina McEwen, East Cornell Road, Mercer.

The bridegroom is a son of Donald and Tammy Knauff, Uber Road, Mercer.

Crystal Styers, Mercer, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Megan Shipton, Mercer; and Daina Sonntag, Fredonia.

Shawn Knauff, Mercer, was best man for his brother. Ushers were Devin O’Brien; Chris Boughner; and Daniel McEwen, bride’s brother, all Mercer.

Sydney Kurzejeski, Waterford, N.Y., groom’s cousin, was flower girl. Johnathon Esmond, Brownsville, Pa., bride’s cousin, was ring bearer.

Organist and soloist was Luanne Goodrich, Neshannock Township.

Liz Baker, Mercer, groom’s aunt; and Lewis McEwen, Hermitage, bride’s uncle, were readers.

Greeters were Tonya Raygor, Bellbrook, Ohio, and Brandon Pendel, Sharon, both bride’s cousins.

The couple took a carriage ride around Mercer following the wedding ceremony.

A reception followed in Tiffany’s Banquet Center, Brookfield.

After a honeymoon to Wilmington, N.C., and Myrtle Beach, S.C., the newlyweds live on St. George Road, North Versailles, Pa., formerly of Jacksonville, N.C.

They are Mercer High School alumni.

Mrs. Knauff is an elementary education major at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, N.C.

Her husband is a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps in North Versailles. He was previously stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
